How to Create a Month's Worth of Marketing Content with ONE Video
Marketing is fun. Especially if you do it right.
It helps make more people know who you are. You make more money. All good things.
The only problem is...many find it hard to create enough content so that anyone even notices.
Well, looky here. Follow these steps to create a month's worth of content from just one video.
(This is exactly what we do for our We Build Newsletters clients.)
First, here's an overview of the process.
The thing with most busy leaders, there's just not much time to sit in front of a blank screen and just...make stuff.
So we use a single video session to create all the content we need for a month's worth of marketing.
The format can be simple — one or two people in front of the camera.
Then we start up a conversation about their unique perspective on business.
Sometimes it's two executives or founders.
Sometimes it makes sense to have our client interview one of their clients.
Regardless, two is always better than one. It feels more like a conversation than a performance.
And this part is important. This is what makes the content truly one-of-a-kind vs generic, AI-driven how-to's that anyone can just google.
These are personal stories, drawn from years of real-world experience.
That's it for them. An hour or less in front of camera and they are done for the month.
Then, our team gets to work cutting the video into a dozen or so clips for social media. From there, we can repurpose each piece into 3 to 4 image-based social posts.
We then transcribe all that spoken content so that we can make captions, post text, blogs, and an email newsletter.
That's the process. Here's how you can do it yourself:
Step 1: Brainstorm Your Topics
Why: By defining your topics and preparing questions, you set the stage for a productive session that captures your unique perspective.
Step 2: Record Your Video Session
Why: Recording a 30-minute conversation allows you to create authentic content that reflects your expertise and personality.
Step 3: Transcribe the Video
Why: A transcription turns your spoken words into text, making it easier to create various types of content.
Step 4: Create an Email Newsletter
Why: Email newsletters keep your audience informed and engaged directly. Summarizing your key points and including links to your other content pieces ensures consistent communication with your audience.
Step 5: Develop Social Media Content
Why: Social media snippets keep your audience engaged and drive traffic back to your longer content. Extract key quotes and ideas.
Step 6: Create Short Video Clips
Why: Short clips are perfect for social media and help maintain a steady stream of engaging content.
The Importance of Process and Routine
Consistently following this process ensures that your content is fresh, engaging, and true to your voice without requiring much of your time.

Title: How Financial Advisors Use Referral & Content Marketing to Thrive in 2024
Date: (TODAY) June 25th, 2024 Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST —

Project of the Month
Perry Chesney, a financial consultant known for his service-over-sales philosophy, needed to enhance his online presence. Despite a solid offline reputation, he lacked digital visibility. We stepped in with our We Build Newsletters process.
First, we created a straightforward, authentic website. Then, through a few recorded interviews, we produced a range of marketing assets, including engaging newsletters.
This approach required minimal time from Perry but generated high-quality content, resulting in increased website traffic, a growing social media presence, and new business opportunities.
